Three Paths to the Doctor
The OUTsights Gateway can connect and transmit patient data via WiFi, cellular, and satellite. It operates in intelligent Tri-Broadcast mode or can be set to Off-Terrestrial Coms mode for maximum satellite effectiveness—ensuring data reaches doctors no matter what.
Tri-Broadcast Mode
The gateway intelligently selects the strongest available path—WiFi, cellular, or satellite—to transmit patient vitals. When one link degrades, it seamlessly shifts to the next without any patient or provider intervention.
Off-Terrestrial Coms Mode
In areas with zero broadband or cellular coverage, the gateway can be locked to satellite-only transmission. This dedicated mode maximizes the effectiveness of each satellite window using Delay-Tolerant Networking protocols proven in deep-space communications.
Automatic Failover & Battery Backup
When WiFi and cellular drop—and even the power goes out—the OUTsights Gateway automatically switches to satellite mode on its internal battery. Patient data gets to the doctor even when nothing else is working.
Data Gets Through—Even in a Blackout
The OUTsights Gateway carries an internal battery so when the power goes out it continues operating—automatically failing over to satellite mode and ensuring patient vitals still reach the care team.

Engineered to run on alkaline cell arrays or LiFePO4 packs—no Class 9 hazardous cargo restrictions—enabling rapid deployment to any location by standard shipping or air.
